SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY 2026
Are you a Northern Neck senior passionate about native plants, conservation, or sustainability?
The Northern Neck Native Plant Society (NNVNPS.org) wants to support your education!
Who can apply: Graduating seniors residing in the NNK of VA, attending Lancaster, Northumberland, Richmond, or Westmoreland County public or private schools.
Fields of Study: Environmental Science, Botany, Conservation, Sustainability, Biodiversity, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or any discipline geared toward bettering our Commonwealth with an emphasis on flora of the NNK.
Three $1000 scholarships will be awarded.
Easy to apply:
Mini-Essay: 75–100 words on how your career goals align with our mission of protecting & preserving native plants and their habitats.
Name, address, email or other contact info.
Academic Record: High school transcript including GPA.
Two letters of recommendation from a teacher, coach, mentor, leader from a faith-based or community organization, employer, etc.
